Dan Bitar

Dan Bitar is the Global Head of Direct Investing for DFO Management, the investment firm that has invested on behalf of the Dell Technologies Founder Michael Dell and his family since 1998.

Dan has over 30 years of experience investing across sectors, geographies and asset classes. Dan joined MSD Capital, the predecessor to DFO, in 2003 and established a successful 20 year track record by investing a flexible and long-term capital base alongside world class management teams.

His investing experience has included equity and structured investments in venture backed companies, large control stake buyouts, minority recaps, strategic joint ventures and a diverse group of public companies.

Dan currently serves as a board member on number of companies and nonprofits.

Dan received his B.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
